Wildfowling Uist
South Uist is home to some of the finest wildfowling experiences available. With over 650 lochs and lochans, you could be mistaken for thinking South Uist has more water than land.
There is a good chance you may see almost everything in the wildfowlers game card, and it is by no means unusual to see a guest clutching half a dozen species between his or her fingers on a morning. The fowling is truly world class both in terms of quality and quantity, but its the sense of the wild that makes it so memorable for our guests.

Keenly anticipated for months in advance, and never failing to match our expectations. It’s cold and often wet, and the wild birds can be maddeningly elusive but there is nothing to match the heart-stopping excitement of a skein of geese heading straight for your butt in the early dawn.

Packages as standard include a 7 night stay at Grogarry Lodge, for a maximum of 8 guns and up to 19 guests. However packages are tailored to your groups exact requirements.
Both our gamekeeping and lodge team are at hand throughout your stay to ensure your guests every needs are met and expectations exceeded.
